We left around 9 this morning heading north east to Baden-Baden, Germany. It is the Black Forest Area of Germany. The drive was, again, beautiful and short. We stopped at a little town in Germany for breakfast (cafe and pretzels + croissant + something very similar to croissant) - 30 minutes later, we are in Baden-Baden city, very German and pretty too. We went into the tourist office to find out where we could see the old ruin castle that is high up on a mountain. The girls got the directions on how to get there....10 minutes later we were on the dirt road in the forest, I mean in the forest getting lost, our car got stuck in the mud and could not get any further. I had to back up the car and barely made it back to the civilization. We got to stop and ask for direction again....20 minutes later we found the ruin castle. It was worth the trip to Baden-Baden!!! Just an incredible view....
We got back into town and had lunch...Dinner back in Strasbourg.
